Tina Francis Tapestry is a small tapestry needlepoint kit company that alongside their own designs produces bespoke kits for the Heritage industry. All components are sourced from UK where possible and where this is not possible then a full provenance can be provided of each component. (for example we no longer weave Tapestry canvas in the UK so we use Zwiegart a German family company).

I live in a city where some people can remember 3 different central libraries, the lates incarnation is a jewel of a building that has viewing platforms where you can see the whole city. Its newness and belies the heritage that it contains. The kit comes in many colourways as I am hoping it this will encourage the building to stay around for a while!

Tapestry Kit – Hamilton Tartan

I am fascinated by weave and order and Tartans tick all of those boxes. One of my favourite pass times is to sit and look at the Tartan Register, there are so many different tartans to see and it is my ambition to get my own registered in 2016. Obviously I will be creating the block chart for it too!

This kit contains everything you need to stitch the lovely Stewart Tartan:-

Colour Block Charts, Wool, 12 count Interlock Canvas, Needles. Stitching Tartans is so very relaxing and the finished result is an heirloom in the making! Approx 43cm Square when completed on 12 count.

Also available as a block chart only and wool pack option

Tapestry Kit – Pavilion Tops

I love St Petersburg with its domes and spires, I also love the 1970s especially the colour pallette! When researching Brighton Pavilion I was told that it used to painted all different colours rather than just cream, so taking inspiration from the domes that I used to see everyday and those that I have only seen once I produced this fantastic colourful kit. If the 1970s are not for you then you can always buy the canvas only and use your own colours!

Anchor Wools – great colours woven in Hungary

Tapestry Kit – Brighton Pavilion

I lived in Brighton for 15 years and never tired of seeing Brighton Royal Pavilion, the small details are what entranced me and still do. Look really closely and there are staircases leading nowhere, secret balconies and windows hiding lavish secrets. It is a great building on the inside and the out and out!

John James Needles – a family company from Redditch UK

Appletons Wools – from sheep born and bred in the UK, these wools were used by William Morris
