Michelle Mateo

About Michelle Mateo
I handcraft simple ash splint baskets, wooden bowls and leather items for everyday use, using traditional tools and techniques. I enjoy working off-grid with hand tools, using only hardwood that is locally sourced, from sustainably managed woodlands as part of a natural thinning and woodland regeneration process.
I teach in Wales and in the South West of England.
