A quirky small console/occasional table well suited for the hallway, which boasts a contemporary design with a traditional feel. Why not add some colour and charm to your room. Made from solid timber with hand turned legs. The top features; American Black Walnut, Ash, Oak and Bubinga along with ebonized Boxwood inlays. Oiled and waxed to bring out the natural colours of the timber.

I felt honoured to be chosen to design and make six tables for Moot Hall in Aldeburgh. Moot Hall is a very fine example of a grade 1 listed building that enjoys multiple uses. Parish Council meetings, town clerks’ office, the building is also open to the public as Aldeburgh Museum.

My tables had to reflect these differing roles, be light enough to re arrange for a council meeting or put into ‘museum mode’. Two of the six tables are extending which help with the versatility.

All made from solid English Oak, the four main tables enjoy a marquetry centre piece – Aldeburgh’s town seal!

I was asked to design three dining tables for the Officer’s Dining room. Made from solid English brown Oak, with rippled Maple cross banding and an Eagle marquetry inlay.

Tables are 8ft x 4ft

A wonderful commission using a stunning log of English burr Oak. Featuring six leather lined hand cut dovetailed drawers which are installed on push to open and slow closing runners. Also featuring a removable pen tray, a hidden power supply and two secret cupboards!
