About Richard J Weaver Craft and Design

I was first introduced to the world of green woodworking and heritage crafts back in 2010 by Lee Southall, a talented craftsman and willow weaver. Lee’s passion and energy for the craft caught my attention and it wasn’t long before I was hooked. My practical skills as a conservationist were put into good use and I found myself making spoons and experimenting with different designs. I’m in love with the process, not just the end product. When I am turning bowls or forging tools, I work part-time supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities. This is my other passion and something I feel very strongly about.
