Leather Craft Workshop Days
About Leather Craft Workshop Days
Leather Craft Workshop Days are designed to be all about You... getting hands on and making is what it's all about here at my Leather Workshop at the old Royal Ordnance Depot at Weedon Bec, Northamptonshire.
Leather Craft Workshop Days was founded in 2017 by Richard Williamson, a commercial Leathersmith maker/designer since 2008.
My Leather Workshops are geared for people with some, to no experience of working with Leather where you'll be making your very own premium leather goods, all hand cut and saddle stitched by you the maker with my full guidance throughout your Workshop.
I also run longer 2 or 3 Day Courses for those thinking of starting their own small leather goods business, or just starting out as a hobby and happy to see where your new skills lead you.
The aim of these longer Courses is to show you different methods of construction, stitching and finishing to gain a good understanding of the leather working skills & techniques used in making a wider variety of Small Leather Goods.
On all of my Workshops and Courses you'll be using the highest quality leather and I've designed all of the hand cut and saddle stitched items you make, with a timeless stylish look, and also to be as commercially viable as possible for you if you then went on to start a small leather business having attended my workshop... and many have, which is always great to see.
I'm an independent teaching maker workshop with a growing maker community. Bringing the traditional handmade skills of working leather and repair to current day designs keeping the handmade skills of small batch production alive and well.
Hope to see you at the Workshop.
