About Farfield Mill
Farfield Mill is art craft & heritage gallery set on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Housed in a former Victorian Woollen Mill, our 3 gallery spaces, artists’ studios, power looms and handlooms are set over four floors, displaying, and selling a range of contemporary craft, art, and jewellery, handcrafted and designed near in the Mill and surround area. The Mill has working power looms (Dobcross and Somet Looms) which weave throws for the Mill Shop. We also have our volunteers, weaving friends, who weave on handlooms and sell their work in the Mill. All our exhibition spaces show a changing programme of exhibitions. Being an old textile mill many of these exhibitions focus on textile art. We run eductional workshops covering many crafts including weaving, crochet, felting, upholstery, ceramics and painting.
