James is a qualified Master Saddler and saddle fitter, and a leatherworker. He has worked with leather for over 30 years and enjoys the variety of work and the versatility of the craft. From making and creating to repairing and restoring, leathergoods have a functionality and longevity which has been appreciated for centuries. At the workshop in Newry, we can make or repair any manner of leather item which can range from equestrian items such as saddles and bridles, to briefcases, gun cases, ladies handbags and dog collars. James also specialises in side saddles and their repair and restoration. We also run leathercraft courses at our workshop, which have been very well received.
