Spooncarving
Spooncarving for a day – a practical skill – Over 18s only. Available all year – usually on a Sunday but midweek can be arranged.
You have seen the advert – Plusnet – now come and experience the real thing!
On this course you will learn basic techniques of spooncarving, learn to carve green wood, the proper use of tools and basic safety with regard to tool use.
You will also learn “how to read the wood”, ie how to sculpt it into the desired spoon shape as the wood will allow.
Bring your own lunch.

All tools and wood. Safety gear. If you have your own spooncarving tools you can bring these along.
