‘Happy Abstract’ by William Blake
Design binding with overing leather and doublures of natural goatskin which has undergone several applications of paste resist and hand-dyeing. Further decoration was applied using gilded inlays of goatskin with additional gold, blind and pigment foil tooling. All edges were decorated – prior to sewing – with gold leaf, acrylic inks and gold tooling. Endbands are of gilded leather.
