Specialised in
Silk Weaving

We preserve traditional heritage silk weaving skills, weaving on looms that date back to the 1890s, and by maintaining our collection of historic machinery. Because of our care and traditional processes, production is not fast; delivery of a 150m order of silk can take up to 16 weeks, but the time spent is well worth it for the beauty and timelessness of the result!

By weaving exclusive fabrics for today’s luxury market, we are securing the future of the methods, skills, traditions and knowledge that have existed at the Mill since 1815.

We weave:

  • Pure silk
  • Silk and linen
  • Silk and worsted wool
  • Silk and metallic yarn
  • Taffeta
  • Twill
  • Herringbone
  • Ottoman
  • Satin
  • Satin striped fabrics
  • Organza
  • Ribbons
