Steve Tomlin

About Steve Tomlin
I use locally sourced timber to make a range of goods for the home including carved wooden spoons, bowls and pounded ash splint baskets. All my work is based on using traditional skills to produce practical goods for contemporary life with a strong design element. Recognised as one of the leading greenwood carvers in the UK, I have been teaching spooncarving since 2006 and was awarded a Queen Elizabeth Craft Scholarship in 2013.
I am the UK's leading scythe teacher and during the summer can be found in meadows around the UK teaching people these sustainable, efficient tools for land management.
