Spalted Beech Bowl
This Spalted beech bowl measured approximately 14″ in Diameter by 4″ deep and was turned in the summer of 2019 as a commissioned piece for a wedding gift. Im sure you will agree the markings in the wood are just fantastic and after finishing the bowl with Hampshire Sheen High Gloss and Microcrystalline Waxes, I didn’t really want to part with the piece. it is for this reason I only have a small display cabinet in my dinning room to show off some of my work, which are normally pieces I have one prizes on in competitions.
