Sam Glass Rocking Horses
About Sam Glass Rocking Horses
We are a husband-and-wife team who make bespoke rocking horses in our small workshop and studio space in Camelford, North Cornwall. Sam Glass has been making rocking horses since 1988 and Sarah, who is an artist, is his new apprentice. We make bespoke rocking horses with love and care using the patterns of Sam Glass. We also restore rocking horses that have been over loved, or have been unloved and neglected; we bring them back to their original glory ready to be part of your loving family. All our horses, be they created new or restored from old, take many hours as each one is hand crafted in the traditional way; the making cannot be rushed. Visits are welcome but by appointment only. Orders taken for advanced dates only as we carry very little stock; it takes many months to create a rocking horse, our horses are all hand carved with traditional handheld tools.
