Ruth Emily Davey

About Ruth Emily Davey
I make hand crafted shoes designed around the natural shape of the foot.
I trained for 5 years with Shoemaker Alan James Raddon and now have a shop in the small town of Machynlleth, ancient capital of Wales.
I make my shoes using European leathers and an English tanned leather for the soles.
My shoes are designed to last and made to be repairable.
I am proud to be a QEST scholar and most recently have completed my Fellowship with the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust to study the importance of handing down Traditonal Craft Skills to future generations.
