Ruth Ames-White is a professional mosaic artist living in Wells, Somerset.
Much of her work is commissioned based, privately or through public art, she has undertaken a variety of projects, from domestic to historical.
Over the years Ruth has honed her skills, underpinned by her natural creativity. She works with a broad range of materials and techniques to produce exquisitely detailed pieces. Her work is often influenced by her interest in Medieval architecture and imagery, as is evident in her current public art project, Wells in Mosaic. Also woven throughout Ruth's work you will see her love of music and the natural world.
