Handmade from quarter sawn UK Olive Ash, these side plates will add joy to any piece of cake, toast or anything else you eat from them. Wood is a natural insulator so doesn’t hold a chill like a standard plate, they also don’t break if dropped! (Usually)

Each plate will have slight variations as they are handmade and colour/grain will vary based on the wood available at the time. Approx. 200mm diameter.

These plates were turned on a vintage Viceroy lathe, made in Leeds. In the tradition of pole lathe turning, the tool marks are left on the plates; no sanding is performed to accentuate the tactile surface of the wood. Finished with food safe linseed oil/beeswax.
