About Nathan Goss Conservation
Nathan has over twenty years’ practical experience in the restoration of historic buildings which started with his five year carpentry and joinery apprenticeship in 1987. He was initially trained in the art of stair construction, church joinery, cabinet and coffin making. Even though Nathan is extremely passionate about restoring, conserving old buildings, he still runs his own bespoke joinery & furniture design company, where he also restores individual pieces for private clients.
A Hand Carved Bench
A carved ash, oak and ebony bench. there are 39 separate components glued together and hand carved using chisels. Finished in a Fiddes hard wax oil.
