About Lisa Burkl
I am a glass artist, visiting lecturer and community art facilitator. My personal creative inspiration comes from symbolism, iconography, colour, light, reflection and projection. I use common imagery and abstraction to bring a poetic expression to my artwork, it also provides the opportunity to deliver ideas, qualities and emotion on multiple levels. I qualified in Architectural Glass in 1991, I have worked on projects in universities, schools, private studios, art galleries and community venues. I am a qualified teacher and my experience covers a wide range of art forms, such as painting and drawing, design, textiles and architectural glass arts.
