The Hei Toki Adze is a polynesian pendant style following the design of an Adze axe head. It is the symbol of strength with in the Polynesian and Māori community and especially with in the male gender. The pounamu stone itself comes directly From the west coast of the South Island, the land belong to the Māori with restricted access to collection along the mountains and river fronts.
