I am a self employed decorative painter, est 1985, specialising in all sorts of paint finishes. My work is very varied, from fairground rides to Gypsy wagons, narrowboats to clock dial restoration, furniture to interiors.
I also illustrate town maps and produce my own illustrated books on the meaning of words.

Clock dial restoration
I try to keep as much of the original dial as possible ,so keeping It’s colour and crazing.
I usually clean the dial, repair, research if I can only find a shadow of names. I then do black work, gold leaf on corners and paint and colour match.
