Kate Hasted is a textile artist, designer and maker who specialises in marbling techniques. Her work investigates the balance of pattern, using placement of colour and controlled development of shapes as they emerge on the water's surface. Finished fabrics and artworks result in abstract organic curved patterns or designs that seem to explode with colour, movement and fluidity.
