Designer of knitted items of all kinds, from miniatures to full size. Traditional knits, fishermen's ganseys, Fair Isles, Arans a speciality. I also crochet and specialise in wedding and christening dresses. I have designed and made pieces for film and TV and have written a number of books on different types of knitting including vintage knits, Aran, Ganseys and Scandinavian knits. I run the North Norfolk Branch of the Knitting & Crochet Guild where I teach all aspects of knitting and crochet and am involved in compiling a database of knitted ganseys for Sheringham Museum.
