About Ian Dennis
I am an archaeologist and archaeological illustrator with a particular interest in producing replica antler and bone objects. My work is inspired by the close study of the artefacts that I illustrate. I run regular antler craft workshops in conjunction with Cardiff University, Dryad Bushcraft, and Guerilla Archaeology. I have been commissioned to make replica Norse antlers combs for use in handling collections and museum displays.
Mesolithic Antler Headdress and Antler Hunting Points.
Antler headdress, antler points, and flint tools used in the making. These are based on those found during the excavation of Star Carr, a Mesolithic site in North Yorkshire.
