Pictavia Leather

About Pictavia Leather
Pictavia Leather creates bespoke custom leather goods.
I make just about everything, from outdoor bushcraft equipment such as backpacks, belt pouches, knife sheaths, living history and archaeological pieces, to contemporary products such as satchels, wallets, purses, and phone/tablet cases.
I run various courses in leatherwork from basic starter days to intensive 3/4 day courses for those who want to learn the ins and outs of traditional leatherworking.

Specialised in
I specialise in reenactment or living history leatherwork, mostly Pictish and Norse, and bushcraft leather goods.
Pictavia Leather strives to recreate ancient Pictish stone carvings as a way to bring our heritage back to life in leather. I now make a lot of contemporary products inspired by Pictish carvings to engage people with Scottish history.
