About Diana Hall
We have been making Replica Medieval Inlaid Floor Tiles for about 40 years. Lewes Museum asked me to make some tiles for an exhibition about Lewes Priory, a Cluniac House in late1980s, I then visited Norton Priory and helped stack their replica Medieval up-draught Kiln and I was fired.
When replicating an inlaid medieval tile we research where the original tiles were manufactured, dig the clay from similar clay beds, John carves the wooden stamp and we produce the tiles by traditional methods. We have worked for Cathedral & Church Architects, Museums and Country Houses.
I now need to pass on my research and knowledge.
