We are master handsewn shoemakers (cordwainers) who make beautiful, bespoke shoes that combine the traditions of our heritage, British craft with a modern aesthetic, colour and detail. We design each pair of bespoke shoes to suit our customer's personal taste, style and of course, fit.LEARN SHOE MAKING
We founded and run the London handsewn shoe making school, opening up opportunities for novice enthusiasts to learn this heritage craft on evening classes, our famous 12-day intensive course and one-day introductory hand lasting classes at our workshop in London's iconic Oxo Tower Wharf building. We are proud to include Maud van den Broecke (Horace Batten Bootmakers), Seiji McCarthy, Ann Marika-Verploeghchasse (Stiefelwerks NY), Jesse Moore (NY), Louis Smith (Old Sole), Tom Murphy (Chapter Two), William Laborde, George's Shoe Repairs, William Laborde and Fadairo Oluwamuyiwa (John Lobb) amongst our alumni.

Leathercraft Classes
Leather is a wonderful material to work with and at the same time, it is good to know that a waste material is being transformed into something beautiful, durable and useful. We work as often as we can with veg tanned leather from Tuscany which is masde using stringent sustainability and environmental controls.
It’s a waste material that we’re passionate about using constructively. Our leather craft classes are not only our way to share this enthusaism but are often a helpful way to use up offcuts from our bespoke work, to help us to reduce waste.
We run leathercraft classes on Saturday afternoons, but you can also get a group together for a special celebration or arrange to come with the family for an afternoon of making. Classes start from £38 for a 2-hour fun fob workshop for a minimum of 4 people.
