Tailspun yarn
Combining the traditional craft of handspinning with a modern tailspun technique, I created this skein of art yarn with handdyed British Teeswater locks. The colour is a gorgeous mix of blues with shades of purples and greys in there too.
I spin tailspun yarns with approximately 5″/12cm between each lock of Teeswater fleece – this spacing enables the user to knit or crochet into a fabric inbetween the locks so that the locks then hang freely from the finished item.
