Peg loom weaving kit
I teach a lot of workshops using peg looms as they are a very accessible introduction to the craft of weaving.
The very special peg looms used in these kits are made of reclaimed oak (from the renovation of my house, using the oak beam that was supposed to be holding my house up). The peg looms were crafted using my oak beam by a local craftsperson to my specification for these kits. Every peg loom is beautifully tactile and unique, showing off the beauty of the oak.
This peg loom weaving kit comes complete with a reclaimed oak peg loom, some warp cotton, a colour instruction booklet, spare peg, threader and 1.2kg of beautiful selvedge wool yarn, sourced from a British weaving mill.
