About Little Toy Dog Company
Little Toy Dogs are hand made collectable toys, designed and sewn by Alice Wood in her south London studio. Using traditional toy-making processes Alice creates unique characterful toy dogs from beautiful mohair fur fabrics, which have been used to make the best Teddy Bears and toys for over 100 years. Alice is also a member of the British Toymakers Guild and the Crafts Council Directory of Makers. She trained in pattern cutting before studying BA Illustration at Camberwell School of Arts & Crafts and MA Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art.

Pug Little Toy Dog
Pug is made from a beautiful dense German mohair fur fabric. Legs are fully jointed with cotter pin joints and may be positioned. Eyes are traditional black glass toy eyes with wire back-loops. Filling is high quality carded polyester fill. Pug wears a vintage crepe silk scarf square.
I sew all my toy dogs by hand, with a few seams completed on my vintage Bernina sewing machine. They are made with great care using traditional techniques. All my toys are finished with an individual sewn in tag authenticating each one as a genuine ‘Little Toy Dog’.
Measurements: 17cm nose to tail, 19cm feet to top of head when standing.
