Our ethos is simple to grow, coppice, season and produce works from our own sustainable resources and to teach, demonstrate and encourage others in traditional crafts’ Clive Lyttle and Elaine Burke, Welig Heritage Crafts

Welig Heritage Crafts  are basketmakers and traditional skills practitioners working in both traditional and contemporary designs.  Their materials are produced from their own smallholding where they grow willow and hazel coppice for basketry and a range of other hard woods for green wood turning and chair making.

Clive and Elaine have worked on film sets, have been part of a Chelsea Flower Show medal winning Garden and have contributed towards many medal winning show gardens locally.

Elaine also received a special award from the Crafts Council of Ireland for a sculptural willow vessel at The RDS Crafts Competition.

Welig Heritage Crafts are constantly striving to produce the best products and services we can for an ever increasing market.
